My 1st two official acts here will be.......

First to get off a weekly poker game. This one will be a selfish act as I love poker. LOL. We have a nice sponsor that will set the room up for us. We did it across the street and it is a blast playing against other forum members. Right now we are leaning towards a $3-6 Hold 'em game on Tuesday night. This is in the planning stages so let me know if you would be interested or have any comments. We can play higher or lower than that so feel free to voice your preference. We will kick this game off a week from this Tuesday, the 3rd of June.

The 2nd thing I want to do is get to the bottom of the Uncle thing. Not sure what all is going on but he and I have been through a lot together. If I can understand what the problem was I hope to regain his services. I have spoken to several people here and they all ask me to talk to Uncle so I will try and do just that. At the very least hope we can all bury the hatchet. I know both Uncle and Shrink are unhappy right now about this situation even if they won't admit it. Not so much only as a poster but Shrink likes this guy like a family member almost. Think it would be great if this thing can get resolved. If you are reading this Uncle give me a call. Thanks.

Just curious

Love to learn to play poker but how in the world can you tell if the game is fair playing on-line? Couldn't someone easily set up a game so they won a lot slowly?

LOL!! I think we will have enough, for the guys who said they would play is Tuesday okay? I am pretty sure Laker and I will play as well. May even get the Shrink in the game!! I will get more info on where we will play and what we need to do on Monday. Stay tuned....

Shotgun - I'd love to start it this week but not sure how long it will take the sponsor to get us set up. I will talk to them Monday, if for some reason it can be done earlier we will certainly do it. My experience in the past though was we'll need the extra time to get it all done. We all need to get funded there and download the software plus spread the word enough to get a full game. After the first week when we all know where it is and how to send money etc.... it will be much easier. The first week is always the toughest.

Could happen this week but probably the week after. Either way I will keep you all posted. Just sent them an e-mail so maybe we can get the ball rolling earlier.....
